We went here on a trip across the US with 4 kids and 2 adults. Pretty cool place, by far the prettiest we found in New Mexico! We didn't go to the park next door but it looks as great as everyone says. They did charge us a 5$ parking fee and had no brochures or information on the place. We watched some scuba divers dive which was interesting.
Awesome spot! Beautiful clear and cold water! Free to swim and fun to jump in! Functional bathrooms. Unsure about the facilities. No diving equipment rentals through facilities. Off season hours require a call ahead for diving personnel and her rental equipment. We were unable to dive, but definitely worth stopping to check out!
Got certified here. It is just a deep blue hole of water in the desert. Not much to it. Went to the bottom and 76 ft is all you can dive. The deeper caves are caged off.
Great water hole to stop and relax. We didn't have time to go swimming but several other visitors were swimming and jumping from the rock face that is there. Covered picnic tables if you want to have lunch there like my family and I did.
It's pretty cool to see the deep blue aqua colors.people jump off into the water. Lots of people and if you want to dive you have to get certified. Over all is a very cool place
