One positive, the pool was great!
The services provided were not up to standard for the expensive rate for the room. The linens were dirty and the tub looked like it had been sandblasted. No carafe for coffeepot for coffee. Day clerk was rude.
By far one of the most affordable, pet friendly places we have stayed on our trip! Room Clean, bed super comfy. Santa Fe grille right next door for great food and service. Highly recommend for fellow travelers going back and forth out west with pets. Just watch out for the dang sand burrs in pet grassy areas!!
This happened tonight 10 Nov 17. I first had room 108. Two queens. Pulled the sheets back and dirt smudges (or stains) and several dark short and curly hairs. Pulled the sheets back on the other bed. There were two yellow stains about the size of a quarter and a nickel side-by-side. I called the office and requested a room with clean sheets. The second room (115) would not unlock. The third room was 128. It also had dirty sheets on both beds. One had gray shirt and curlies with dog hair. The other bed had two dirt smudges and few dark specks. I requested a refund and went down the street. The staff was friendly and apologetic through everything. I will not ever stay at this Days Inn in Santa Rosa.
The woman working the front desk wasn't very friendly...maybe she was tired? Our worn out bathtub had a lovely wad of hair in it. Room was mostly clean other than that. What killed me was the pathetic excuse for the continental breakfast. At 7 am they were already nearly out of everything, including COFFEE. Our friends (staying in another room) were given one towel for a family of four and were given a good morning greeting by a cockroach. If we had paid $60 for this place I would expect it, but we shelled out more than that. Lesson learned, next time we come to town we'll stay elsewhere.
The Internet didn't work at all unless you went to the lobby. The tub and the toilet was discussing, shower head had water everywhere. The ice machine didn't work. The breakfast had a lot to be desired. I would drive on down the road before I would stay here again! Sorry I didn't read the reviews before I booked the room.
