On the return trip from Colorado to Texas we marked Santa Rosa as a good close-to-halfway point and decided to spend the night here. The owners were very accommodating in holding a room for us as we called in route. The room was very clean as were the bathrooms. And the price was very reasonable for the experience. Highly recommend.
This place was absolutely amazing! Old school cool and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Can't beat the price either- what a bargain!
Nice clean and well maintained property on old Route 66. Newer hotels are a dime a dozen and do not have the old time character or service of this motel. When was the last time the manager of a hotel personally walked you to your room, showed you the amenities (Direct TV, and high speed internet) and welcomed you to the property. Definitely top notch!
Great place to stay at reasonable rates. Comfy beds and hot showers. Owner ensured we had a comfortable stay: due to heavy rain our hot water heater went out so he gave us another room key that had a working hot water heater because he "wanted to make sure we had a hot shower in the morning". Will stay again!
So glad i trusted the reviews here. It was a pleasure to stay here. This motel has been recently remodeled. New beds, carpet, bathroom looks spotless, even the pillows are comfy. The television is nice and wall-mounted with Direct TV and wifi is included. I am always skeptical of any hotel and feel they usually just aren't clean. Paying higher prices for a fancier building doesn't make it more comfy or cleaner. Don't judge this motel by the sign or age of the building. The owner is very friendly and accommodating to anything you may need. Highly recommend.
